Since 1994, over ten million people throughout the UK have participated in the Race For Life. The Race for Life is a 3km sponsored run to fundraise for Cancer Research UK. Our “one in ten million” Office Administrator, Lucie Plumley, took part in the Trinity Park Race For Life in Ipswich, Suffolk, on Sunday 16 June 2024.
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound donated makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work.
Lucie laced up for life to support Cancer Research UK, you can read more about her story and make a donation on her Race for Life page
Finishing with a very respectable time of 20 minutes (thanks to all her post work training sessions), and raising a fabulous £375, plus an additional £57.50 gift aid bringing Lucie’s contribution to the fight against cancer to £432.50. After her great success this year Lucie is going to take part in the Pretty Muddy Race which is a 5k event filled with slippery mud and obstacles.
Lucie would like to thank all her sponsors, and to give a special thank you to Mark Skinner for his generous donation.
Well done to our Lucie!
