Our Design Manager, Sean Taylor deserves a round of ap-paws for his contribution to Crufts, arguably the greatest dog show in the world. Sean was invited to judge the Young Kennel Club Junior Obedience Category at the 2024 competition. Sean has trained dogs since he was knee high to a grasshopper so it was a special honour for him to be asked for his judging expertise and stewarding skills.
As a token of their appreciation Crufts presented Sean with an engraved crystal decanter.
Over 24000 dogs and their handlers competed for the coveted world-class title of Best In Show, making the atmosphere at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, very “pup-beat”. Crufts, founded by the Kennel Club in 2024, took place over a four day period from 7-10 March, with over 130,000 attendees enjoying the show, covering more than 25 acres of ground at the NEC.
Attendees also had the opportunity to meet over 200 different breeds of pedigree dogs in the Discover Dogs area, which has been running for 30 years now. With handlers on site to advise about feeding, grooming and walking routines it was the ideal place for those wanting to become dog parents to learn more about their chosen breed.
Pawsome work Sean!
